Friday, 23 April 2004 - Day 4: Round Table Discussions
|
|
09:00
|
|
It has become a well appreciated tradition to use the last day of the workshop for ad-hoc "Birds of a Feather" sessions or "Round Table Discussions".
One of the main objectives of the workshop is to bring together the different groups of people who work on PDE standards: the Data Modellers, the Software Implementors and the (End-)Users, and to provide an informal forum for exchange of ideas and synchronisation of activities. This year we propose Round Table Discussions on the list of topics below. The idea is to have an open exchange of ideas, opinions, comments and suggestions, which take into account the presentations given earlier in the workshop and any other activities that are related to PDE for the space industry and the theme "Open Standards for Model-Based Development".
The topics are:
- Engineering databases & data exchange
- New ECSS WG on engineering databases
- Links with SysML, STEP AP233, XMI, ...
-
Exchange of Simulation Models
-
Development of Open Source Software (OSS) tools to facilitate creation and verification of open PDE standard interfaces
-
Evaluation of the workshop
